Willow Springs, is almost urban but just removed enough to be in a neighborhood of single family, mid-century brick ranch homes on a tree lined street. This is our largest home with 4 bedrooms and 2 baths. It is about 6 miles from the downtown center and about the same distance to the Opryland resort area. This trendy area of East Nashville/Inglewood is best know for easy stops for lunch like Mitchell’s deli in the Riverside Village.

Homes of this era were built on large lots surrounded by open space and big trees. The driveway takes you downhill to plenty of parking. The keyless front door gives you easy, secure access. Willow Springs has 3 bedrooms on the main level, 1 king, 1 queen and 1 twin with room for aerobed. The upstairs bath has a retro feel with a tub/shower combination and lots of green tile. Downstairs is the 4th bedroom with a queen bed and a 2nd full bath. The two wicker chairs have a unique story. They were purchased/recycled from a local Nashville radio station where they graced their waiting room. You could say, "Willie Nelson sat here".

The kitchen is complete with dishes, toaster, microwave, coffee maker and dishwasher. Dining space for 4 at the kitchen table, 4-6 more in the dining room. Downstairs there is a 3rd table for games. The laundry room has a full sized washer and dryer. Wireless internet is available throughout the house. Bed linens and towels are provided. Starter supplies like paper towels, soap and TP are also stocked. Pack n Play portable crib and Aerobed are available for a small additional fee.

All of our homes are professionally cleaned and maintained and will be ready when you arrive. With your confirmed reservation you will be provided with the door code combination along the home’s address and other vital information.

The backyard is big and open to a seasonal creek. This could pose a limit to some families with small children. If you have time in your busy sightseeing itinerary the Willow Springs home is only a block away from the northern end of the Shelby Bottoms Greenway trailhead. A level, paved one mile loop makes for a pleasant morning bird watching adventure. One day I stuck my head through the trees along the path and had a “Tom Sawyer” moment. There on the bank of the Cumberland River sat the General Jackson, a grand restored paddle wheeler. It is moored at the Opryland headquarters and takes off each day on tours down the river. From the house you can hear the classic “toot - toot” of the sternwheeler.
